Nusku Thermacor will have a natural brown tone when first installed. The material is thermally modified to the core, so this color is consistent throughout the product.

Over a 2 year timeframe, Nusku Thermacor material will naturally transition to a gray tone. This process does not impact the performance of the decking & original color can be restored with refinishing process.

MOISTURE EXPOSURE
When natural wood products are exposure to rain, snow or moisture the extractives, including natural pigments can bleed out which in turn can lighten the color of the wood.
UV EXPOSURE
When Nusku Thermacor is installed exterior, the greatest impact to silvering out is ultraviolet rays. UV rays are responsible for breaking down lignin in natural wood products which in time transitions the fiber to silvery-gray.
INSTALLATION OPTIONS
Nusku Thermacor can be installed with a more traditional option utilizing screws, but when a clean finish without seeing hardware is desired our customers install with a variety of hidden clip options. There are a wide range of hidden fasteners that work with the standard Thermacor profiles, but we highly suggest using the Exoclad & Exodeck hidden clips.
